This rearranged Week 1 clash proved worth the wait for reigning champions St Anthonys B, who brushed aside Cringlewood A in commanding fashion to maintain their unbeaten record and assume top spot in the table. From the off the Saints were relentless, taking the gallon 2–0 before powering through the main game with only five legs lost on the night.
Dave Hart opened strongly with a 70.45 average, beating John Mulhern 3-0 with eight tons and a 16-dart leg.
