St Anthonys C claimed a 4–3 win at home to Burst, avenging their 5–2 defeat earlier in the season. Burst had taken the gallon 2–1, but it was the Portway side who fared better in the singles this time around.
Jimmy Starr got St Anthonys going in game one, beating Ray Townhill 2–0, but Burst hit back in the next two — Joe McAuley defeating Dale Holt 2–0 to level things up, and Mike Westlake making it 2–1 to the visitors after beating Steve Williams 2–0.
Kai Evans pulled the Saints level with a 2–0 win over Rory Sullivan in game four, before Michael Horrocks nudged them in front by seeing off Mckenzie Evans 2–0. The saints were on the brink of victory, but game but Burst ensured the match would go to a deciding game after Jimmy Murphy pipped Dan Tierney 2–1.
That left it to the decider, and Eddie Williamson held his nerve to take a 2–0 win over Jack Newsham — sealing the points for the hosts.
