The Old Plough claimed just their second win of the season in this rearranged game from week 6, claiming a 2-0 gallon win and coming from 1 down in the main event to win five consecutive games to claim a memorable victory.

The visitors drew first blood in game one as Jimmy Starr edged out Jack Bates 2–1 with the Saints man finding a tidy 23-dart leg,  But the home side hit back straight away in game two as Stuart Ridings levelled with a 2–0 win over John Holt.

Lewis Gould made it 2–1 to Old Plough in game three with a steady 2–0 success against Steve Williams, before Darren Horridge added another point in game four to make it 3-1, also winning 2–0 against Eddie Williamson.

The match was settled in game five as Stephen Wilcox came through a 2–1 battle with Ryan Horrocks to give Old Plough an unassailable 4–1 lead, and Stephen Senior then produced the standout display of the night to make it 5-1 in game six, hitting three tons and a sharp 19-darter in his 2–0 victory over Dale Holt.

With the result already beyond doubt, St Anthonys C grabbed a late consolation in game seven as Dan Tierney beat Matt Melling 2–1, but it was Old Plough who claimed the spoils with a convincing 5–2 triumph.
