Metros Sports continued their strong form with a 5–2 win away at Old Plough, turning the match around after trailing 2–1 to claim the final four games. They also picked up the gallon 2–0 to round off a strong performance on the road.

The visitors struck first in game one, as Wayne Billing edged out Lewis Gould 2–1 in a close contest, but Old Plough hit back with two quick wins: Nick Brown levelled things up in game two with a 2-0 win over Nicky Bray, and Stephen Senior followed up with a 2–0 win in game three against Harry Wilson, both players registering three 100+ scores and Stephen with a 60 finishand a tidy 20-dart leg.

But from that point on, it was all Metros. Gareth Cooke levelled the match at 2-2 in game four with a 2–0 win over Paul Fent, before Andrew Lewis put the visitors ahead  with a clean 2–0 win over Stephen Wilcox, hitting a 24-dart leg and three ton-plus scores. Mike Bray sealed the match for Metros in Game 6 with 3 ton plusses and a 21-darter during a 2–0 win over Matt Melling.In the final game, Jack Yates added a bit of gloss with a 2–1 win against Reece Newell, despite Newell’s  three 100+ scores in defeat.
