Buck Inn-eers are top of Division 3 after repeating their recent scoreline against the Horseshoe with a solid 5–2 win, this time away from home in Levenshulme, backed up by a 2–0 gallon win to round off a solid all-round perfomance.

Game 1 went the way of the home side as Kieran Chapman beat Joshua Craven 2–0, hitting three tons and finishing on 82 — the highest checkout of the match. The lead was short lived however, as James Abbey levelled it for Buck Inn-eers in Game 2 with a 2–1 win over Josh McQuillan, posting four 100+ scores along the way.

Game 3 saw Niall Moffatt edge the Bucks ahead for the first time with a tight 2-1 win over Ben Harrington 2–1, Harrington hit four tons to Moffatt’s none but couldn’t convert in the deciding leg. The Horseshoe soon drew level after George Moss hit back in Game 4 with a 2–0 win over George Banner, but from there, it was all Buck Inn-eers.

James Golds beat Kieran Aherne 2–0 in Game 5 with three tons to make it 3-2, and Rick Hindle sealed the match for the Buck Inn-eers with a 2–1 win over Rob Moss, adding two tons of his own and despite Moss hitting the only 180 of the night.

With the tie settled, Matt Kershaw wrapped things up for the vistors in Game 7 with a 2–0 win against Oscar Coutts, hitting two tons to round off a strong team performance.

Next up for the Division 3 leaders is a KO Cup last 16 meeting with Division 2’s Trafford Social, while the Horseshoe face another Division 2 side in St Anthonys a in the last 16 of the Shield.
