Royal Oak B took the trip to Didsbury Road with the 6-1 defeat against Dog & Partridge fresh in their minds, but were to avenge that defeat, coming out on top 4–3 after a night that swung back and forth, also claiming the gallon 2–1 at the start of the night in a fine performance all round.

Pete DeCordova set the tone with a 2–1 win over Elliot Wynne in the opener, before Rory Pessagno doubled the advantage by also winning 2–1 against Dave Cook. Dog & Partridge hit back in game three as Tom Spillane took out a 2–0 victory over Dom Stevens, but Mark Gilmore stopped any thoughts of a run with his own 2–0 success in game four against Dom Powell, restoring the two‑game cushion in the process.

Graham Beech dragged the home side back into contention in game five, playing nicely with a 22‑dart leg and a tidy 65.35 average to notch a 2–0 win over Jaydon Strong, but Andrew Mossop then stepped up to seal it for Royal Oak B in game six, hitting 3 ton plus scores in a 2–0 win over Derek Winess. Chris Conduit made sure the Dog finished on a positive note by claiming a 2–0 victory in the last game of the night against Rob Whiteside.
