Brandon Lawley opened the evening with a narrow 3–2 win over Gary Brisco, both players firing in five tons and Lawley adding an 18-dart leg, the joint best of the night. Dan Cross followed up with another 3–2 victory, edging out Jon Powell in a tight contest and giving Broadheath Central a 2–0 lead.

Melville responded in Game 3, as Cam McFarlane got the better of Lee Darcey with a 3–1 win and produced the highest finish of the match with an 86 checkout. Broadheath restored their momentum through Jordan Woodbridge, who beat Owen Powell 3–2 in a high-quality battle – Woodbridge hit a 180 and seven ton-plus scores, while Powell was unluck in defeat, with a 61.66 average, four tons, and an 18-darter.

Melville kept themselves in the match when Bradley Hodgson came through 3–2 against JonJo Devon in Game 5, but Broadheath sealed the result soon after. Leyton Jackson got over the line 3–2 against Paul Sambrook, who had stacked up eight tons in a strong showing, while James Eatock wrapped things up with a final 3–2 win over Tom Powell.

Six of the seven singles games went the full five legs, but it was Broadheath Central who came out on top, securing five match wins and leaving with seven league points. Melville walk away with two and will take heart from just how close this contest really was.
