Game one saw Alex Buckley up against Joshua Craven, Buckley firing in a 72 finish on the way to a 3–0 win to put the hosts into an early lead. In game two Trafford’s Jake Neersoo took on Adrian Janszewski, and the Buck Inn‑eers man defied 6 ton plus scores from Jake to level things with a 3–2 success. Matt Kershaw then faced Liam Galvin in game three and gave the visitors a 2–1 overall lead by cruising to a 3–0 win.
The tide turned again in game four as Trafford’s Andrew Davies saw off Rick Hindle 3–2, hitting six tons while making it 2–2, but game five brought another twist, James Golds beating Rob Cartwright 3–0 to edge Buck Inn‑eers ahead once again. But Trafford weren’t done: Jordan Fry met Niall Moffatt in game six and pulled them level once more with a 3–2 victory, before Zac Nichols sealed it in game seven by sweeping past George Banner 3–0 with four tons to spark the home celebrations.
