Anonther twist in the Division 3 title battle as early season pacesetters the Vine Inn, who had a bit of a midseason wobble, returned to form to beat current league leaders Buck Inn-eers 5-2, avenging their week 7 loss by the same scoreline.
Billy Sanders started things off with a 2–1 win over Peter Bloomfield, hitting a 20-dart leg i the process, before Charlie Sanders then doubled the lead with a 2–1 win against George Banner.
Ryan Sanders and Kyran Eyes added to the tally in games three and four, both securing 2–1 wins against Adrian Janszewski and Niall Moffatt respectively, with Kyrans’ win securing an early win for the home side. Geoff Sanders made it 5-0 when he took down Niall Moffatt 2–0 with three 100+ scores and a 23-dart leg, but the Buck Inn-eers rallied late, salvaging some pride.
