Dog & Partridge extended their dominance over Horseshoe with a fourth straight win in the fixture, and second this season, as they followed up a 6-1 win in week 7, this time taking a 5–2 victory away from home in Week 12. They also grabbed the gallon 2–0 to complete a strong night’s work.
Dog & Partridge captain Tom Spillane opened the evening with a 2–1 win over Kieran Aherne before Graham Beech then doubled the lead with a 2–0 result against Josh McQuillan, landing three 100+ scores and posting a match-best 58.94 average.
Horseshoe hit back through Karl Jones, who took a tidy 2–0 win over Derek Winess in game three, but Dog & Partridge stayed in control after Chris Conduit responded immediately with a 2–0 win over Rob Moss, including a 100 checkout.
At 3-1 up, Dave Cook saw off Kieran Chapman 2–1 in game five to secure the bonus points, before George Moss gave the home crowd something to cheer with a sharp 2–0 win against Elliot Wynne — Moss landed a 23-dart leg and two tons in the process.
The final word went to the visitors as Dan Buckley wrapped things up with a 2–0 victory over Oscar Coutts.
